The leather comes from a renowned Italian tannery, where the traditional process of pit tanning is still practiced — a type of treatment that best preserves the typical characteristics of artisanal cowhide such as: smell, suppleness, and elasticity.
Wear and time will affect the leather, and the bag will darken giving each piece its own unique character. It is an intricate part of the life and charm of the bag.
